To all our Wedding Professionals in the South Coast, Cape Cod, and Boston areas, we extend a special invitation to attend a Bridal Celebration: Cuisine, Couture and More presented by Plimoth Plantation. This Bridal event will showcase the unique, beautiful setting that Plimoth Plantation has to offer as well as a preview of their delicious catering talents.
Doors will open at 11:30am by invitation only to area Wedding Planners in order to allow them to preview the space and vendors for their clients. Doors will then open to the public at noon. Food stations will be available from 11:30am-1:30pm and will showcase the culinary talents of “Events at Plimoth Plantation.” Brides from all over will delight in the exquisite gowns designed by Maureen Seastrand and be able to gather all the services and information they need to make their day special. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to gain face-to-face time with brides-to-be in order to sell your business. The cost for an 8-foot booth space is $600 and we also have sponsorship opportunities available which will allow you maximum logo and business exposure. DIRECTIONS TO PLIMOTH PLANTATION; Plimoth Plantation 137 Warren Avenue Plymouth, MA 02360 From Cape Cod: Please note that there is no direct exit to the museum from Route 3 North. You must reverse direction at exit 5 to go on Route 3 SOUTH. Take Route 3 North to exit 5. At the bottom of the exit ramp go left (under Route 3). Make a right onto Route 3 SOUTH. Immediately take exit 4 (Plimoth Plantation Highway). This is a left exit. Continue on Plimoth Plantation Highway for approximately 1 mile and take the exit for the museum. At the end of the exit ramp turn right, and proceed up the street for 20 yards. Turn right at the sign for the museum into the driveway. At the stop sign at the end of the driveway, cars and campers should turn left and park in our main lot or overflow lot. Buses, RVs or visitors with handicapped plates should turn right and park in the bus parking lot. From Providence and Points Southwest: Take 95 North, to 495 South (exit 6) to Route 44 East (exit 6). After entering Plymouth, take Route 3 South to exit 4 (Plimoth Plantation Highway). This is a left exit. Continue on Plimoth Plantation Highway for approximately 1 mile and take the exit for the museum. At the end of the exit ramp turn right, and proceed up the street for 20 yards. Turn right at the sign for the museum into the driveway. At the stop sign at the end of the driveway, cars and campers should turn left and park in our main lot or overflow lot. Buses, RVs or visitors with handicapped plates should turn right and park in the bus parking lot. Public Transportation from Boston: Public transportation in Plymouth is currently under redesign. We at Plimoth Plantation strongly urge our guests to rent a car for their visit to Plimoth Plantation and Mayflower II. If a one day car rental is not an option then listed below are the most up-to-date resources available. From Boston's South Station, take the Commuter Rail http://www.mbta.com (1-800-392-6100) train to the North Plymouth station. This is an open platform station. From the North Plymouth station you will need to arrange for a taxi service or use the local GATRA bus service (GATRA is designed for residents of the town and may prove problematic for tourists). Taxi ride from the North Plimoth station to Plimoth Plantation is about 15 minutes or Mayflower II about 8 minutes. |
